Play with up to 8 players! This is a complete set in one listing: the 3-4 player base board, the 5-6 player extension, and our new 7-8 player extension.
Choose your edition and your 8-player board size (43, 40, or 37 hexes).
Board sizes:
- 43 Hex — our biggest board, about 25.6″ x 27.7″ assembled. The most building room per player, with 14 ports and 41 number chits.
- 40 Hex — the middle size, about 27.2″ x 22.3″. Gives each player the same amount of space as the official 5-6 player game. 14 ports and 38 number chits.
- 37 Hex — the compact board, about 25.6″ x 22.3″. The tightest layout: more competition for space, and it fits on a smaller table. 13 ports and 35 number chits.
The 37 hex set is a subset of the 40 hex set, and the 40 is a subset of the 43. If you buy the 43 hex set you can set up all three board sizes with the pieces in your set, and the 40 hex set can also set up the 37. The smaller sizes are for anyone who prefers a lower price or a tighter game.

- 4 border expansion pieces
- 11 resource hexes (2 wood, 2 sheep, 2 wheat, 2 brick, 2 ore, 1 desert)
- 28 numbered “chits” with roll frequency, alphabetized for easy setup (replaces 3/4-player chits in 5/6-player games)
- 2 ports (sheep, 3:1)
Included in the 7-8 player extension (depends on the board size you choose):
- 43 Hex: 4 border expansion pieces, 13 resource hexes (3 wood, 3 sheep, 3 wheat, 2 brick, 2 ore), 3 ports (wood, brick, 3:1)
- 40 Hex: 3 border expansion pieces, 10 resource hexes (2 each of wood, sheep, wheat, brick, ore), 3 ports (wood, brick, 3:1)
- 37 Hex: 2 border expansion pieces, 7 resource hexes (1 wood, 1 sheep, 1 wheat, 2 brick, 2 ore), 2 ports (wood, brick)
- Every size also includes a full set of 3-4 player AND 5-6 player numbered “chits” — together they cover the 8-player setups

Personalization:
Personalized engraving is available on the back side of the desert tile or on the front side of the border. Engraving is a $35 add-on: please also add our Engraving for Game Board (Addon Item) to your cart, and leave your engraving text and location in the order notes. Personalization can take up to an additional week to ship.
